Accessibility
Our commitment to making this website usable by everyone, and the known issues we are fixing.
Our aim
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard only, magnification or voice control. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- A "skip to content" link on every page, and pages that can be used with a keyboard.
- Text that can be enlarged to 200% without loss of content, and layouts that adapt to phones.
- The page language set correctly on English and Russian pages, so screen readers pronounce them properly.
- Booklets available as downloadable PDFs.
Known issues
- Some interactive tools do not work on three guide pages (ITFS, Foreign Universities and Listing). We are fixing them.
- On some phones the English contact page scrolls sideways slightly.
- Some booklet PDFs may not be fully tagged for screen readers.
- The site has not yet had an independent accessibility audit.
